Injection Molds
Custom Injection Molds
Custom injection molds, mold kits, and precision mold components, with support from tooling development through plastic part production.
Custom Injection Mold Manufacturing
D-TOP manufactures custom injection molds for plastic parts, from prototype tooling to production molds. We support OEMs, mold makers, injection molding companies, and manufacturers sourcing custom tooling or finished plastic parts.
What We Can Manufacture
• Complete Injection Molds
• Prototype Molds
• Production Molds
• Multi-cavity Molds
• Hot Runner Molds
• Cold Runner Molds
• Mold Inserts
• Cavity / Core / Slider
• Mold Kits
Engineering Support
Our engineering team reviews the part and mold requirements before manufacturing. Support can include DFM, mold design, 3D CAD review, gate design, cooling design, parting line review, and draft angle review. Moldflow analysis can be provided when required by the part, material, or project requirements.
Manufacturing Capabilities
Our manufacturing scope includes CNC machining, EDM, wire EDM, grinding, polishing, mold assembly, mold trial, and CMM inspection. The required machining, inspection, and trial work is defined for each project.
Materials
Plastic materials can include ABS, PP, PC, POM, PBT, PA6, PA66, PA6-GF, PA66-GF, PMMA, TPE, and TPU. Mold steels can include P20, 1.2311, 1.2312, 1.2738, H13, 1.2344, and 420 stainless steel. Materials are selected according to the plastic resin, production volume, surface requirements, and expected tool life.
Flexible Cooperation
D-TOP can manufacture directly from the customer's completed 3D mold data. Depending on the project, customers can purchase:
• Complete mold
• Mold kit
• Cavity
• Core
• Slider
• Inserts
For selected projects, we can also supply tooling without a mold base or without mold trial at D-TOP, allowing the customer to complete final mold assembly and trial locally. The cooperation scope is confirmed according to the supplied design data and project requirements.
From Tooling to Plastic Parts
Some customers do not need the mold shipped to them. If the requirement is for finished plastic parts, D-TOP can develop the mold and continue with injection molding and mass production.
Tooling → Mold Trial → Injection Molding → Mass Production → Secondary Operations → Assembly → Packaging
Send us your 2D/3D files together with the plastic material, estimated annual quantity, and target timing. We will review the project and provide a tooling or molding quotation.
